My experiee, from level 1 to 34, is that Frost doesost less mana, but the spells do less damage as well. You rely heavily on Frostbite to pr for faster kills. If you get off aouple of Frostboltrits, things die fast. Getting those Frostboltrits, however, is ahallenge in itself. With Fire, a Pyroblast or Fireballrit means Ian swih to wanding instead and thus spend less mana.oupled with the mana return you get when yourit, I spend around the same amount of mana on eh spell, but they hit for way more. I bet Frost bomes a lot more mana effient when you have some dentrit and spell damage ratings, and when you get deeper into the tree.
Frost at lower levels gives theontrol you desire (slowing the enemies in many ways) at theost of being able to do the sk damage of fire. I am leveling a frost mage now, and yep.... it takes more frostbo...

Another big suggestion. If you are leveling and not getting hit, you should use mage armor instead of efrost armor. I don't know if you have it yet, but I think you do. Froste armor only really helps your armor and slowing your attkers. You'll note most mages in the 60's use Molten armor or Mage Armor (Molten for rit and Mage Armor for the 30% mana regeneration whileasting). No, the spell hitomment was before he went aane, saying it wasn't important in general, not just for mages, but anybody, and I don't like trying to talk to a wall, so it doesn't do mh good.

PVE: I guess you are saying 5 mans and leveling through quests and grinding - Frost is the mostommon sp. I was fire to mid 50s bause as a beginner, I saw fire as doing more damage. Honestly - the abilities in frost allow the best solo game play. They are also very viable for 5 man PVE. I am a lvl 54 fire mage. I'm relativly new to the game. I'm veryonfused about what equment I should be trying to get. I keep hearing about spellfire and spellstrike sets, T4, T5, and other stuff i don't remember. I have no idea what this stuff is, or if it's even something I should want. an someone explaine this stuff for me or point me to a that will?
